Alkaline concentrate for equipment cleaning and passivation DESCRIPTION BS212 – is a complex alkaline concentrate used for chemical cleaning of Boiler, chillers, heating and cooling systems pipes, degreasing and passivation of surfaces in precommission period. APPLICATION BS212 passivates surfaces and removes organic and non-organic deposits. This product is used concentrated or diluted with water in proportion 1:2 – 1:10. Surfactant acccelerates cleaning process and dispersant prevents precipitation of cleaned deposits (especially where is bad circulation). Sequestration agents prevent from ferrous and silicate origin deposits. Cleaning result is formation of oxide film on the hole surface of pipe-line that shows the perfect passivation and resistance to corrosion. Cleaning time is from 1 to 4 hours. Working solution has to circulate continually. REMARK - The solution can slightly dim, shake it before use; - Cleaning solution must be neutralized after cleaning with acid to pH6-7, diluted with water and then poured out to sewage according to local legislation. Cleaned surfaces thoroughly flush with water; - BS212 is used with aluminum and zinc-coated surfaces if pH of working solution is less than 9; - Concentrate of BS212 is not explosive and not combustable. It is biodegradable.
